How many sessions will I need?
Psychological treatment is tailored to you and your situation so that the number of sessions needed varies from person to person. I spend the first session developing an understanding of your problem and situation and will discuss your goals and the likely number of sessions with you at the end of this session.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No referral is needed. However a doctor's referral is required for a Medicare rebate. You may also wish to tell your GP that you are seeing a psychologist as part of their overall management of your health.
